A key component of Transpersonal therapy is using mindfulness as a tool for grounding and growth. Mindfulness can help us move into a calmer space in which it is easier to see ourselves from a wider perspective. If we can cultivate this space then we can support ourselves through whatever uneasy feelings that come up for us as we grow.
Meditation is another great way to create space for yourself grow. Most of us live in a world of constant stimulation, often to the point of overwhelm. Meditation allows us to take a break from that world and naturally process our thoughts and feelings. Meditation does not have to be limited to sitting. Meditation could happen on a walk or while doing simple tasks like washing the dishes.
Human growth is spiritual growth. Growth continues to happen throughout one's life, but often the focus is on childhood. By focusing on one's inner growth I can help you move into a richer arena of human existence.
